IsoAcoustics GAIA Titans Ship to the UK

This month IsoAcoustics have announced shipment of their brand new GAIA Titan isolator models designed for premium high-fidelity speakers. For those of you unfamiliar with the origin of the GAIA range, what better time than now for a quick recap...!

A Brief [Recent] History Lesson

In 2016, following the success of their L8R and Aperta series stands in recording studios across the world, IsoAcoustics set their sights on the home audio market with a view to offering the same isolation tools for Hi-Fi and consumer audio systems. The fruits of their labour and research culminated in the now hugely popular GAIA range of Hi-Fi speaker isolators.

IsoAcoustics GAIA I isolators, released in 2016Built to replace the threaded spikes in floor-standing speakers, GAIA’s unique design offers a low-profile solution allowing the speakers to effectively float in free space and avoiding upward reflections from the speaker’s underlying surface.

GAIA’s design is also directional, and resists lateral movement, restricting the speaker’s oscillation patterns specifically to forwards/backwards movements. This ensures that the listening position always remains consistent while playback is in progress.

Fast-Forward To Present Day

The newly announced GAIA Titan range is made up of three models, each designed to bring out the very best from premium-end high fidelity loudspeakers. The same isolation technology from the original GAIA range has been effectively utilised, this time on a scale to accommodate some of the bigger (and heavier) hitters in the Hi-Fi speaker realm.

The smallest of the GAIA Titan range ‘Theis' is capable of holding up to 145kg, the mid-sized model ‘Rhea’ can hold up-to 190kg, whilst the maximum capacity of the largest ‘Cronos’ model is an astounding 280kg. Each capacity specification refers to the weight of a single speaker with four isolators are installed.

As with the range of GAIA isolators, the Titan’s patented technology resists lateral movements, maintains the alignment of the speaker, and attenuates internal reflections caused buy the underlying surface.

Implementation of the GAIA Titans into any premium Hi-Fi system offers remarkable improvements to clarity and openness. Extra punch is made available across the dynamic range, but without sacrificing any of the audio's subtler details. But don't just take our word for it - enjoy this endorsement from acclaimed mastering engineer and owner of Coast Studios, Michael Romanowski:

To cater for a wide range of different speaker brands on the market, each GAIA Titan model includes three different thread adaptor types for use depending on your specific speaker make and model. The Theis and Rhea isolators include M8-1.25, M14 and 1/2-13 adaptors, whilst the Cronos features M14, 1/2-13 and M10-1.5.
