The Digital Audio Labs LM-MICPRE is an external preamp accessory designed for use with Livemix CS-DUO and CS-SOLO personal mixers.
By allowing Livemix users to bypass the built-in intercom microphone, the LM-MICPRE provides a direct input for any dynamic microphone to serve intercom purposes.

Three selectable modes are available for external intercom operation: "always on," which enables live input from the microphone at all times, “latching” for two-touch on/off switching, and "momentary” which enables input only when the button is held.
Using an external mic with the intercom allows musical directors and team members to communicate clearly. It also help you save channels on the personal mixers or console.
The LM-MICPRE can also be controlled remotely using the optional Livemix FP-2 foot pedal for hands free intercom operation.
