The Seventeen 500 is a classic 76-inspired compressor delivering incredible detail with the familiar flavour vintage levelling amps from the 1970s.
Built for modern-era producers, Black Lion have scaled up the original design to offer unprecedented detail and nuance along with a stereo link function, making the Seventeen 500 a perfect tool for individual vocal and instrument tracks as well as mix bus duties.
Thanks to a new wet/dry control not included on original 76 designs, Seventeen 500’s compressed “wet” signal can be seamlessly balanced to fit better in any mix.
In keeping with the design of original vintage 76s, Seventeen 500 features British or “all-button” mode to combine multiple ratio settings for unique and exciting curve results.
