Bravado IEMs include a bespoke, handcrafted Effect Audio Ares II cable compiled from a proprietary blend of 26 AWG UPOCC Litz copper cabling with flexible insulation, and an ultra durable Oyaide gold plated right angle plug terminated with either a 2.5, 3.5 or 4.44mm jack.
Pairing a single W9 subwoofer with a balanced armature counterpart, Empire Ears sets the tone for achieving perfect coherency between the best of both worlds: the naturalness of dynamic driven bass, complemented with the clarity and precision up top of a well-placed balanced armature. Designed for perfect neutrality, the Bravado's signature is intent on equality, providing perfect balance between the bass, midrange, and treble. Its entry-level position might be deceiving, for when it comes to performance the Bravado boldly holds its own; the precise imaging and separation one comes to expect from Empire Ears, yet at a friendlier cost.

To achieve this feat, Empire combine a number of driver technologies including proprietary Knowles and Sonion balanced armature speakers for maximum clarity, a dynamic range W9 subwoofer for powerful lows, and a synX crossover network to create a super-wide ’studio monitor level’ frequency range for unparalleled detail, all in the space of a single IEM.
Asides from specially selected reeds and low-mass diaphragms, Empire drivers also utilise a NASA-born ferromagnetic liquid known as Ferrofluid to dampen acoustics peaks and reduce vibrations during playback. This results not only in extraordinary clarity but also an increased shock durability to each earphone.
